Returns, Cancellations and Right of Withdrawal

Cancellation before shipping

The customer may request cancellation by emailing ampriftebikes@gmail.com as soon as possible and stating the order number. We will try to stop manufacturing or shipping. This process does not remove any mandatory consumer rights.

The fact that a standard product is prepared or manufactured after the order is received does not by itself remove the right of withdrawal. Choosing from normal catalogue options—such as power, wheel size, display or battery capacity—does not automatically make the product personalized.

Right of withdrawal

Where applicable, the consumer has 14 calendar days from physically receiving the product to communicate their withdrawal from the purchase without giving a reason.

This can be communicated to ampriftebikes@gmail.com, stating the customer’s name, order number, product, date received and an unequivocal statement that they wish to withdraw.

Return instructions

No product should be sent without first requesting instructions, especially if it contains a lithium battery. Once the return is authorized, Amp Rift Ebikes will provide the appropriate address, packaging and shipping method privately.

Return cost for a change of mind

For a withdrawal due to a change of mind, the customer bears the direct cost of returning the product. No penalties will be imposed and the customer will not be required to pay the kit price as a condition of withdrawal.

Lithium batteries are subject to special transport requirements. The customer must follow the packaging instructions and use an authorized carrier. Amp Rift Ebikes can help arrange transport and communicate its actual cost in advance.

Condition of the product

The customer may inspect the product in the same way as they would in a shop. The customer may be liable for any loss in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and operation. Opening the packaging does not automatically remove the right of withdrawal.

Refund

We will refund the payments legally due, including the standard initial delivery cost paid, within 14 days of being informed of the withdrawal. We may withhold the refund until we receive the product or the customer provides sufficient proof of return, whichever occurs first.

Additional costs chosen for expedited delivery or a method other than standard delivery are not refundable unless required by law. The refund will be made using the same payment method unless otherwise expressly agreed, at no cost to the customer.

Exceptions

The right of withdrawal is excluded only in cases provided by law, including a non-prefabricated product made to genuinely individual specifications or clearly personalized. This exception will be expressly disclosed before purchase and will not automatically apply to standard catalogue variants.

Defective, damaged or incorrect product

An issue involving a defect, damage, missing parts or an incorrect product is not handled as a simple change of mind. Amp Rift Ebikes will bear the necessary costs and provide the repair, replacement, price reduction or refund required by law. The customer must contact us with the order number and, where reasonable, photos or video to assist diagnosis.

Recommended evidence if the parcel arrives damaged or incorrect

To speed up the claim, we recommend that, where possible, the customer records a continuous unboxing video showing the sealed parcel, shipping label, opening, contents and any damage or discrepancy. It is also advisable to keep the packaging and take clear photos.

The video is recommended evidence, not a mandatory condition for retaining legal rights. Its absence does not in itself justify rejecting a claim. Where there is a lack of conformity, the necessary return, repair or replacement costs will be borne by Amp Rift Ebikes.

Email Amp Rift Ebikes at ampriftebikes@gmail.com with the subject “Withdrawal” and include the product, order number, date received, consumer’s name and a clear statement that you wish to withdraw.
