Legal and Commercial Warranty

This policy explains the legal warranty provided by Amp Rift Ebikes and the supplier's additional commercial warranty. The supplier's warranty never replaces or reduces the consumer's mandatory rights against Amp Rift Ebikes as the seller.

Legal warranty

New products sold to consumers in Spain are covered by the applicable legal guarantee of conformity. For purchases made currently, Amp Rift Ebikes is liable for lack of conformity that becomes apparent within three years of delivery. For sales to consumers in other European Union countries, the mandatory period and rights applicable in the consumer's country of residence will be respected.

Manufacturer's commercial warranty

In addition to the legal warranty, the manufacturer provides a limited 12-month commercial warranty for the motor, battery, controller and charger, covering manufacturing defects and failures during normal and correct use. The manufacturer may repair or replace the part, including with a refurbished part. These commercial terms will be handled through Amp Rift Ebikes and do not limit the remedies that the consumer is legally entitled to receive free of charge.

How to report a problem

Email ampriftebikes@gmail.com and include:

order number;
a detailed description of the problem;
photos or videos that help with diagnosis;
serial number, batch number or label, if available;
checks already carried out.

We normally respond within 1–2 business days. We may request reasonable evidence or carry out remote diagnostics without imposing costs on the consumer that the seller is legally required to bear.

Remedies

Where a lack of conformity exists, the remedies provided by law will be applied free of charge: repair or replacement and, where appropriate, a price reduction or termination of the contract with a refund. The remedy will be provided within a reasonable time and with as little inconvenience to the consumer as possible.

Do not send any part without prior authorization. Amp Rift Ebikes will provide instructions and arrange the appropriate procedure. In the event of a lack of conformity, the consumer will not bear the necessary transport, labour, material, repair or replacement costs.

Situations that are not an original defect

The legal warranty does not cover damage shown to arise exclusively from:

an accident, impact, fire or use clearly contrary to the instructions;
incorrect installation by the customer or a third party where the product and instructions were compliant;
an unauthorized electrical or mechanical modification that caused the fault;
combination with incompatible components not supplied as part of the product sold;
normal wear of consumable parts;
water exposure beyond the documented protection rating;
improper storage, moisture, corrosive substances or extreme temperatures;
racing, stunts, rental or extreme activities where these caused the damage.

These exclusions will not be applied automatically or reduce mandatory rights; the actual cause of each issue will be assessed.

Lithium batteries

Batteries must not be sent using an ordinary carrier without instructions. Amp Rift Ebikes will specify the authorized packaging and shipping method according to the diagnosis and applicable transport regulations.

Installation, compatibility and use

Kits must be installed in accordance with the manual and, where necessary, by a technically competent person. The customer must check mechanical and electrical compatibility and comply with the regulations applicable at the place of use. Certain high-power configurations may not be legal for use on public roads.
